I feel uneasy today, my mind is pre-occupied with all things I need to do. Though yesterday I started some parts of the tasks, I still feel unhappy of it. That is because, I want to list down my plans perfectly. And I want to see good results. These are what's inside my messed-up mind:
Problem#1: My roommates and I need to shift to a new room by the end of this month. Without my roommates a year or months back, I handled it myself well. I haven't met them yet so I was alone with 'Pooch's help searching for a new decent place to stay. I found one, and that is where I met them (my roommates). I got to know that they are those few people who, although not totally perfect, were good by heart. We all decided that we will all again stay together in a room. Problem is we can't find a neat, comfortable and affordable place. Expenses here are soaring up like crazy except for the salary. Not a good news. Clock is ticking so fast that we realize we have only 9 days left. Although we still can stay til 15th of the next month, we prefer to leave end of this month coz it will be better for us. But golly! I tried to inquire the other day and I couldn't really find a good one. But thanks for the offered help of some friends here... we have secured a new room, finally!
Problem #2: I need to prepare a letter for my vacation this April to inform my boss ahead of time. I just finished composing that letter this morning and it's in my draft. I will be sending it 1st of March.
Problem #3: Okay. I'm done with the letter. But I need to reason out to make the vacation really important although I am entitle of it as my annual leave vacation. Fact is, my boss is delaying the annual vacation of his staff. Two of my colleague were waiting for their ticket or just the equivalent money which was delayed for 2months now. And so, I thought of something very important for most Muslims. But is as well important for everyone not to miss.
Problem #4: Do you think my plan will work? I am not sure. But what I have plan is to tell them that I badly needed to be in my country before the 25th of April since I am looking forward to be with my family on the day of my brother's wedding. What do you think?
Problem #5: Hey I need a proof! Yes I need to prove them that there is a wedding coming up. And I need a fake wedding invitation, I feel it's better to show them an invitation even they might not ask for it. Just to show them that there really is a wedding, although I am just bluffing. Okay. Call me a cheater, a liar, a bad girl maybe. But nothing will happen if I also do nothing. They can't see the point why we, overseas workers, needs to go home for a vacation, even for a month.
I'll tell you a situation which actually happens to their Filipina housemaid. My colleague had this communication with her during her tough times. She was waiting for her vacation as well like my other officemates since they can already avail their vacation. She has valid reasons why she keeps on following up her flight ticket on him, but he was ignoring her. She needs to go back at least for a month in the Philippines because of her dying father who's requesting to at least see her. But he is rejecting it and when she says the real reason why she can't wait to go home. You know what he told her? "What will you do when you're there? You will just cry there!" Wicked guy, stupid mouth! He lost the compassion he has in his soul years ago when he met his most wicked fiance. I wonder what they feel when they lose a family member in their life?
But then the maid is patient enough to wait until she has the right to fight against him or them. She was especially admirable for shouting back at him when they had a big argument regarding her vacation and warned him of the problem she can give him if he keeps delaying the process. Coward him coz right away he process everything that needs to be done and so she is in the Philippines now with her family.

For now, can you just send me a fake wedding invitation sealed in an envelope with my brother's name and any girl's name on it? I would be glad to tell you more details. Or maybe you can help me out and give me an alternative reason...

persevere... i too have these temptations of giving up. if you manage to get over them, or at least survive the storm, you emerge a stronger person. you are not alone, coz you have friends to help you out, too! :)
