While I was off for 2 days and busy dealing with my constipation, thanks to duphalac which made me feel a bit at ease today, I heard that there was an accident on Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway. I was not sure if 'Pooch exaggerated the news or whoever told him, that 15 people were killed in that horrific accident yesterday morning. Some says that it was because of the thick fog which made everyone's visibility low. 3 days back while on my way to office, I noticed the thick fog. It's like walking literally on the clouds. I can't see the buildings and even the car that's just right in front of us. If it's foggy, they said, it's better you turn your headlight on so you'll see whether your nose will bump the car before you. But I don't think drivers practiced such thing yesterday. Well, we don't really know how the whole chaos started.

Play and make a difference
In my sidebar just right there in the middle, you can click and see the current Ad featured by Advertlets[dot]com. You can also check it here to join the fun while donating rice to hungry individuals. Its goal is (1) to provide English vocabulary to everyone for free, and (2) to help end world hunger by providing rice to hun
gry people for free. Isn't it entertaining and educational? At the same time we are helping them.To play, all you need to do is click on the right word which best defines the word they require you to answer. If you get it right, you get a harder word. If wrong, you get an easier word. For each word you get right, we donate 20 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program.
I tried it myself and played the game. First I have donated 60 grains of rice. But my connection slowed down. So I reconnected and I donated 180 grains of rice. Woohoo! How many grains should I donate to give at least 5kilos of rice? Anyway, if you want to help me give at least that much rice, please click the link I posted above or the Adverlets I have on my sidebar if the ad still appears. Thanks!

Conflicts of a Chinese-English Conversation
This one is funny. I just got it from my friend. I just hope that Chinese people won't find it offensive. This is a conversation of two Chinese. Here goes the mail:
CHINESE TO A CHINESE SHOULD NEVER COMMUNICATE IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Chinese speaking to a Chinese telephone operator.

Caller : Hello, can I speak to Annie Wan?
Operator : Yes, you can speak to me.
Caller : No, I want to speak to Annie Wan!
Operator : You are talking to someone! Who is this?
Caller : I am Sum Wan. And I need to talk to Annie Wan! It's urgent.
Operator : I know you are someone and you want to talk to anyone! But what's this urgent matter about?
Caller : Well just tell my sister Annie Wan that out brother, Noe Wan was involved in an accident. Noe Wan got injured and now Noe Wan is being sent in the hospital. Right now, Avery Wan is on his way to the hospital.
Operator : Look if no one was injured and no one was sent to the hospital from the accident that is not an urgent matter! You may find this hilarious but I don't have time for this!
Caller : You are so rude! Who are you?
Operator : I am Saw Lee.
Caller : Yes! You should be sorry. Now give me your name.
To the beautiful people of China - this is just a humor entry circulating for such a long time in the internet. I just thought of posting it here coz myself reminded me of the Chinese New Year you are celebrating today. For the record, I have a slight hint of a Chinese feature. It's my lola's (grandma) great grandpa who's a Chinese.
Greeting you Gong Xi Fa Cai!
